Fine Arts Audio-visual (Credit course for G11-12)

This is a practical course that emphasizes the use of video as a medium for art and communication. Students will learn introductory filming using a Digital 8 camera, artistic framing and shooting of scenes, editing film using professional studio equipment, and production of short films. Students will also be involved in broadcasting announcements and video over the school’s television network and filming activities around the school to broadcast. Students will also be responsible for overseeing all the school’s audio-visual needs including sound, lights and video for assemblies, masses, choir performances, sports events and plays.
